Iroquois Hoods

Nestled in Muskegon, Michigan on the Lake Michigan shoreline, Iroquois Hoods opened its doors in 1957 as a manufacturer of laboratory furniture. From a diverse line of fume hoods, glove boxes, cabinets, epoxy countertops, steam baths and filters, over time we have narrowed our focus to producing high quality fume hoods at a competitive price. A half-century of experience has allowed for continual refinement in the design of each hood, while maintaining excellence in materials selection, precision fit and durability.

We manufacture four models of bench hoods, along with walk-in, distillation, teaching and specialty hoods. With a wide choice of base cabinets, countertops, blowers, alarms, controllers and accessories, we have a complete offering for the modern laboratory. Our relatively small size makes for close communication and quick turnaround with the most technical projects. This gives us a significant competitive advantage especially with custom orders. We have the capacity and flexibility to deliver one to one hundred hoods with accuracy and urgency.

Iroquois’ manufacturing plant is housed in two buildings – one for fabricating, welding and metal finishing, and the other for painting, assembly and shipping. Our custom paint tinting system allows us to match any casework or color scheme. The facility includes a separate test lab used for airflow observation and hood development, and for on-site third-party testing.
